Pachypodium lamerei, commonly known as the Madagascar Palm, is a striking caudiciform succulent native to Madagascar. Despite its name, it is not a true palm but a spiny, semi-arid plant with a tall, columnar trunk crowned by narrow, glossy leaves and white, fragrant flowers. Its dramatic form and exceptional drought tolerance make it highly desirable for both collectors and commercial growers.
