Elfland Nursery continues the work of Anderson’s Seed Co., a long-established California seed supplier with decades of history serving growers both domestically and internationally. Under the Anderson family, the seed program became known for its breadth of species and long-standing relationships within the horticultural community.

As stewardship of the seed program transitioned to Elfland Nursery, our focus has been on strengthening and modernizing operations while preserving continuity in species and sourcing. We are actively organizing inventory, improving documentation, and introducing updated quality-control practices to support long-term reliability.

A key part of this work is the implementation of structured germination testing. We are currently establishing an in-house germination program to better evaluate seed performance and provide clearer information to customers. This reflects our commitment to applying current techniques and standards to a seed program with deep historical roots.

Elfland Nursery ships seeds worldwide and works regularly with international customers. We welcome inquiries from abroad and can assist with export coordination where applicable. Communication is available in English, Spanish and German.
